Gözde Appel – Eden

President & Chief People Officer, EDEN Nexus

Culture Architect · Strategic Leader · Co-founder

Long before EDEN was formally established, Gözde was a key part of the founding team, working behind the scenes on the early development, vision, and narrative of the company. Her work helped shape the identity and purpose of EDEN, laying the groundwork for what is now a multi-entity regenerative enterprise.

As Chief People Officer and the President, Gözde oversees the full lifecycle of culture at EDEN, from hiring, onboarding, and conflict resolution to leadership development, internal communication, and values integration. She works closely with executive coach Dusty Staub to embed high-trust, high-performance practices across the organization, ensuring that EDEN grows without losing its soul. Her approach centers around the belief that culture is the true operating system of any organization.

In her role as President, Gözde guides the overall strategic direction of EDEN Nexus, ensuring alignment across subsidiaries, supporting cross-functional leadership, and fostering long-term focus, discipline, and clarity at the highest levels. She acts as both the connective tissue and the moral compass of the company, helping EDEN scale with integrity, transparency, and humanity.

With a background in marketing, branding, and human behavior, Gözde brings a unique perspective to leadership, blending structure with soul, strategy with empathy. Her ability to translate complex systems into clear, human-centered practices has made her a driving force in EDEN’s growth and internal cohesion.

Beyond her professional roles, Gözde is a curious soul, an avid reader of psychology and philosophy, a lifelong student of sound healing, and a devoted advocate for creating environments where people feel safe, empowered, and inspired to grow, both individually and collectively.
